Hi my name is Ariel Freeman. I was born in New Orleans, La. I am 15 going on 16 in the summer, in July. When I was only 7 years old. I moved to Texas in 2005 due to hurricane Katrina. I am currently a sophomore at Bush High School. I still live in Texas I stay with both of my parents and two little brothers. I participate in many different clubs, programs
and activities. Some of them are Girl power,Girl scouts, and being a athletic trainer for my school. I will soon be graduating in two years and plan on going to college either for sports medicine, nursing or in the education field.
Personal Connection: The way he had to pay for his wrongs or when he try's his best not to be like his dad. I have a personal connect with it because I pay for all my troubles when i disobey rules. I also try not to be like the people around me are the young teens in today society.
Text to text Connections: Chinua Achebe describes "Things Fall Apart" as a response to Joseph Conrad's "Heart of Darkness", which is, comparatively, a denser, perhaps less accessible read.
Likes/ dislikes of novel: I dislike that I really couldn't understand the book because most of the words he used and what he talked about i don't hear everyday.
Lessons learned: change takes time things may get to you and cause you to step back wards when trying to move forward and change
